Cacao date balls with LivWell plant protein:
- A dozen medjool dates
- 1 cup almonds (ground into flour)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 3 scoops cacao LivWell plant protein
- 1/3 cup coconut for topping
Sauce for coating:
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 3 tsp cacao
- 2 tbsp agave or sweetener of choice
Process almonds in food processor or blender until reaches a flour consistency. Then add the coconut oil, cacao, and LivWell plant protein, blending for a few seconds and then slowly add in the dates. Continue to blend until forms a sticky mixture.
For sauce: melt coconut oil. Stir in cacao and agave until smooth. Roll date balls into sauce mixture and coconut. Store in freezer to harden for up to 10 minutes. Afterwards, can be kept in fridge.
